Del Oro Caregivers Relief Program

In 2025, the SCR Foundation set aside $40,000 to support Sun City Roseville homeowners with the cost of respite care. Each eligible household may receive funding up to an annual limit.

This grant is offered in partnership with Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center, a private nonprofit agency dedicated to improving the well-being of family caregivers throughout their journey. They offer services to family caregivers of adults with chronic and disabling conditions or diseases. With a team of highly qualified, professional staff, Del Oro helps families through a full range of programs and services.

Who Qualifies

You may be eligible if you are caring for:

• An adult (age 18+) with a cognitive impairment (e.g., dementia, Alzheimer’s, stroke, Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injury)
• Someone age 60 or older who, regardless of diagnosis, requires assistance with two or more activities of daily living.  

Cost to You

There is no cost for respite care services through this program.
