The Survivor Guide was developed by SCR Foundation in partnership with Sutter Roseville Medical Center to help residents prepare for the loss of a spouse or loved one. Since 2003, this free guide has offered an organized, easy-to-use resource for managing important information before and after loss.
What is the Survivor Guide?
Each section of the Survivor Guide includes space to record key personal, household, and financial details:
- Promote purposeful engagement and connection with neighbors throughout the community to reduce social isolation
- Support the safety of residents in the community
- Fund programs and services that create high levels of connection, emotion, and physical well-being for Sun City residents, even as life circumstances change
When completed, the guide offers peace of mind, ensuring loved ones have access to everything they need during a difficult time.
Please note: The Survivor Guide is not a replacement for a legal will or trust, but a valuable companion tool for those managing affairs after a loss.
