The Races are on in Roseville! SCR Foundation’s Annual fundraiser is now just a few days away. We have multiple ways to have fun on October 16th. Whether you are going to play Whack a Ball Night Golf, or Ride a Horse at our Sierra Pines inside racetrack, don’t let these opportunities to win big pass you by.
Join us for an exciting evening of fun. Our starting gate opens at Sierra Pines at 5PM, followed by catered dinner from Buckethead BBQ at 5:30. Golf and Horse Racing at 6:30. You can be a winner just by buying your ticket. Tickets are $75.00/per person which includes dinner, (2) drink tickets, (1) Raffle ticket. Your table of eight can be a team of current friends or new ones. That team can buy a horse, pick a jockey and place bets on a race. There will be Win, Place, or Show Payouts as well as an Overall Winner of the Night! Bring your cash as we will also be selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle.
Tickets for our fundraiser are still available at the time this article was written. You can make checks out to SCRF and drop it off at: Kathy DelGrande, 608 Blackstone Court. If tickets are still available, they will also be sold on Courier Day, October 1st.
Literature Rack
We want to call attention to SCR Foundation’s new Literature Rack. We have now moved all SCR Foundation and Community Partners’ information from the wall outside of the Administration Office to a new location, directly outside of the library doors close to Lobby desk. It is now visible and easy to find. We did this because SCR Foundation is an independent, non-profit entity which is not a part of the HOA. We heard and appreciated resident feedback that finding SCR Foundation materials could often get confused with HOA materials. Our new literature rack has addressed that issue. All identifying headings and labels for information on the literature rack will be done as soon as possible.
Just as the literature rack in the Lobby, is an improved way to communicate with residents, so is our website. It is evolving into a more resident -friendly process for sharing/delivering and receiving information. The website is available for residents to find out more about SCR Foundation and what the Board has been doing in Sun City Roseville. www.scrfoundation.org
Hope to see you at the Races!
